Daniels Park, Colorado

One day when I was driving home from work I decided to take a longer route home that went by Daniels Park, it was almost summer of 2013. I turned into this parking area and saw this amazing view of the mountains and the green rolling hills. It stayed with me. It was just another reason to love the beauty of Colorado.

This year I stopped by again and brought my boyfriend so he could enjoy it as well. Here are 2 of the photos:

A little history about Daniels Park from http://www.douglas.co.us/danielspark/

“Daniels Park is 21 miles south of Denver. Florence Martin donated the park to the City in two parcels. The first 40-acre area at the shelter house was given in 1920. The remainder of the 1000.65 acres was donated in 1937. Most of the park is a Bison preserve and natural area where visitors can view the animals in a high-plains habitat.”
