St. Paul’s Church Antwerp, Belgium

We tried to visit St. Paul’s Church yesterday, but seems like it’s only open on Sunday’s… however, we walked around to the back and found this rear courtyard that was open and got to take a peak at the rear of the church. It was consecrated in 1571 and was a Dominican Monastery. Apparently a good chunk of it burned in 1968… so there it stands half burned out (the brick in this photo), though the rest of the church still stands high. No one was there… so it was kinda cool it was just us exploring 😊 #Antwerp #Belgium #Europe #architecture #cityscape from Instagram: http://ift.tt/2owwtyv
